INTRODUCING:
The Haines Family

The family Blog is dutifully maintained by my sweet wife, Laura. I have been trying to get some of the boys interested in building their own web sites, but that seems (somehow) to have less appeal that playing Rune Scape - go figure. Read More

Haines & Woodward Genealogy
Learning about our ancestors is a fun and important part of our family. Besides, its fin to learn about those closet skeletons that our parents wouldn't tell us about. We enjoy making family trees, looking at pictures from long ago (like papa taking a bath in a tub on the front lawn), and researching to see how far back we can go. "No Success Can Compensate for Failure in the Home"
This quote provided by David O. McKay sums up our approach to family - our own and the family institution as a whole. We are a family of four boys, a dog, a snake, and a pretty traditional (and madly in love) Mom and Dad. The boys range in age from 13 to age six. Laura does a great job of introducing and describing each family member on the Family Blog, so I'll stick to a more whimsical perspective.

We are blessed to have much of Laura's family living nearby, although most of my family is in the deep South or out on the left coast. You can check out their blogs as well. Jon & Jen Woodward's Blog Andy Woodward's Blog Mike & Erin Woodward's Blog Randy & Carmen Haines' Blog

Family Photo Album

If it is Laura that maintains the family blog, then I am the one who goes camera crazy. I have thousands of digital photos, and hundreds more in hardcopy. My goal is to make them available here for family to see. Click below to see what the camera sees (minus the stuff I photoshoped out).
